The storyboard depicts a scene from the movie Happy Death Day in which the main character, Tree, investigates who is after her. She is investigating her friend Danielle when she finds the ominous black birthday card in her possession, and a fight occurs.

The storyboard depicts my interpretation of Edgar Allen Poe’s poem The Haunted Palace. In this storyboard a golden finch finds a beautiful home to live in and starts to sing in joy.

In the second part of this storyboard the golden finch's joy is stolen when his singing annoys an a nearby sleeping owl. The tragedy passes on to the cat who witnesses it all.
